In view of one belt one road, does it mean that most, if not all, commodities counter (heavy and light asset classes) will boom in the next 3 years?
Our SGX darling, Noble Group, is dealing with light commodities trading business. China Investment Corporation (CIC), the China Sovereign fund is a shareholder in Noble. And this OBOR, being a China led thing, does it mean that they will invest heavily in Noble Group, and companies that are linked to China?
Please advice your take on the impact on commodities trading businesses and opportunities around for SGX counters. Thanks
